Very nice We had a nice room, very modern. We could hear the tram but it wasn't that loud.
Staff was very helpful. You could hear people outside laughing but it is really not that bad. Live and let live.
Great location

Good location and nice hotel We got an upgrade and our room was more a suite at the back of the hotel. Noise at the front was not there at all: there is no nightclub opposite of the hotel! Excellent breakfast (not only vegetarian) and very friendly staff. Great central location for sightseeing. Very good value for money.

Review 2 of 2, the negatives Do not use the aircoach & lower leeson st stop, use bus line 784 and you'll thank me later no doubt.No A/C, no ice, no mini fridges, loud seagulls - be aware.I had a king suite but no king bed. Odd.

Lovely staff Really well refurbished hotel and extremely clean. Reception staff were very helpful in helping us find the restaurant we'd booked. Lovely continental breakfast. Definitely the best value I've ever found in Dublin.

Lovely place to stay The location of this hotel is excellent, easy walking to most of the must-see attractions. The staff were really helpful, our room was huge with a very comfortable bed, and the continental breakfast was good. Would definitely stay here again when visiting Dublin.

Weekend natalizio a Dublino Ottima posizione; hotel situato nella zona principale di Dublino, a due minuti a piedi da Grafton Street. Staff all'ingresso e in sala colazioni molto gentile e disponibile. Camera molto ampia e spaziosa; avevamo prenotato una matrimoniale, ma la camera era con 4 letti e molto spaziosa e pulita. Bagno pulito e doccia nuova. Tutto molto tenuto bene. Buona la colazione, non troppo abbondante ma aveva tutto ciò che serviva , comprese le bevande calde.

Personal molt amable i atent, habitacions còmodes i acollidores, ubicació ideal a 10min a peu del centre.L'únic aspecte negatiu els cinc trams d'escales que calia pujar per anar a l'habitació, situada al darrer pis. No hi ha ascensor i si vas amb maleta és complicat.Zona tranquila.

My wife and I are from Providence, Rhode Island.We made our first visit to Ireland two and a half years ago. We stayed at a Hotel in Dublin near the GPO. It was terrible. The next day we moved to Albany House. We loved it!!! It was perfect for us!! Very very comfortable!! But not pretentious at all. The room was great and clean. Breakfast was just right. I lot of variety and excellent coffee. The location was fabulous !! Just a few steps away from St. Stephen’s Green which we loved and explored every day we were there. From St.Stephen’s, Grafton Street(and all its glory), is located at one corner of the Green. The front desk was always very welcoming and helpful. Everything from recommending pubs, restaurants and sightseeing to contacting cabs for us. We stayed two wonderful days before heading out for eight days of exploring the south and west of Ireland. Before we began our exploration, we booked two more days at the end of our trip back in Dublin at the Albany House. This time the front desk booked us on the first floor after I explained that my wife had a knee replacement and the stairs were difficult for her. Otherwise we were so comfortable at the Albany House we didn’t want to come home. Due to the pandemic, we have not been able to return to Ireland but as soon as we can we’d love to visit again and the Albany House is the place we will stay whenever we are in Dublin.

Wir waren begeistert. Wir sind relativ spät abends angekommen und wurden wahnsinnig freundlich und zuvorkommend empfangen. Es gab sofort Empfehlungen für Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Nähe. Unser Zimmer war zwar klein, aber sehr schön und modern eingerichtet. Insgesamt wirkt alles sehr hochwertig und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Auch vom Frühstück und dem dortigen Service waren wir sehr begeistert. Die Lage ist für einen Besuch von Dublin optimal. Gern kommen wir wieder!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Fünf Sterne! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Sehr freundliches Personal !Das Hotel hatte für uns die perfekte Lage es war alles was man brauchte zu Fuß erreichbar. Jede Menge Bus und Bahn Stationen direkt erreichbar.Unser Zimmer war riesig genauso wie das Bett. Das Hotel ist in einem altmodischen Stil eingerichtet was wir ganz süß fanden.Das Frühstück war ok für 5 Euro pro Person kann man nicht meckern. Bei einem Städtetrip aber empfehle ich draußen zu frühstücken um richtiges Irisches Frühstück zu bekommen. Aber auch dafür war alles zu Fuß erreichbar.Die „berühmte“ Straße Tempel Bar war auch nur einen Katzensprung entfernt. Super um Abends noch was trinken zu gehen und dann schnell ins Bett zu kommen.Alles in allem hatten wir einen tollen 3 tägigen Aufenthalt dort. Gerne wieder 😊

The front street rooms can be noisy as there are a couple of rave clubs across the street. The back side rooms are quieter but you'll miss the night "street show"!

Great location and very good staff

Good location, lovely clean room. A loud noise from perhaps an industrial fan outside my room was running until around 9pm which wasn't pleasant (room 9) and neither was looking at an old bed and carpet tossed outside.

Hotel super centralissimo!Arredamento in stile irlandese, classico e accogliente. Staff molto preparato e gentile, sempre pronto ad aiutarti. Colazione consigliata: presente sia dolce che salato, gradito sarebbe stato un bel espresso in stile italiano.. ma capisco che non siamo in Italia e ci dobbiamo adattare ad altre usanze :)Camera carina, tutto l’occorrente era presente soprattutto molto calda, dato il clima umido e rigido!Consigliato!

Very clean and comfortable. We were in room 512nso a lot of stairs which I found hard although chairs on landing so I rested for a few minutes.. great location, bars and restaurants a short walk away.

Albany House stay Our 3 day stay was great. Well located to attractions, restaurants. Room was very quiet and comfortable, breakfast was good--Micheal very nice to get information. Would definitely book again. Terry & Catherine

Pretty good place to stay in Dublin I stayed here for three nights. I loved that it was about a 10-min walk to some of Dublin’s more popular areas so that you’re close to the action without a lot of outside noise. The rooms were clean and the staff was attentive. The only thing I’d note is that there are at least one flight of stairs, no matter which floor you stay on (and no elevator). Dragging my suitcase up two flights of stairs wasn’t fun. If you struggle with stairs in any way, I would consider different hotel.

A good budget choice Albany House can always be relied upon to provide a good place to stay in central Dublin without breaking the bank. It is always very clean and breakfasts are great. My room was recently renovated and was very pleasant - I'd specified a quiet room at the rear of the hotel. My only complaint (and hence only 4*) was the noise of a boiler which switched on at about 6.15 am and transmitted a deep throbbing sound into my bedroom preventing further sleep (Room 105)

Fabuloso hotel, ubicación perfecta, transporte publico, todo perfecto. Importante no está adaptado para sillas de Ruedas ni carritos para bebe. Nos toco en la planta inferior y a pulso el carrito cada vez que subias y bajabas. Por lo demás un 10

Just in Dublin weekend when Irish football final is on days and nights very loud and busy

Very accommodating, friendly and professional staff, good breakfast, nice bathroom and shower, comfortable beds, and good quiet location. We had an earlier arrival and they were very accommodating in letting us check in early. Walking distance to most attractions in Dublin 👍

Very comfortable room; Great location The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was very nice with an awesome shower - large and plenty of hot water. The breakfast was perfect - loved the fresh fruit. All the staff was pleasant and helpful!

What a gem of a place We had the most wonderful time in this hotel. The staff just couldn’t be friendlier and so accommodating as well. The price was wallet friendly, but the service was 6 stars! Thank you for everyone for making us feel so comfortable, especially with a tiny toddler in tow. We will most definitely return! Highly recommend for everyone who comes for a visit to Dublin, the location is just perfect!

Excellent service When I booked because of they had very good price offer, very convinient to me to go shopping and dining.

When I get room, it was a big room has one double and one single, also a separate room for the living room, 1 WC and 1 bathroom, these are wee bit more than I respect actually for the family.

For their breakfast, actually I am happy with continental breakfast, has fruit, juice, yogurt, egg, ham, bread, toast, tea, coffee extra, for my personal, I think that's enough for me, I don't need big breakfast.
Staffs are very nice and helpful, room is very tidy and clean, 24 hours reception and offer to park in Q Park.

Whole family are really enjoying staying here, if next time come to Dublin will book here again.

Un charmant hôtel, très bien placé entre 2 très beaux parcs et à 5min à pied du quartier temple bar.Personnel très accueillant, chambre très spacieuse et très propre. Bonne insonorisation des chambres et très bonne literie. La salle de bain était un peu exiguë mais très pratique.Le personnel qui sert le petit déjeuner est d’une gentillesse incroyable et fait tout le nécessaire pour nous servir des viennoiseries françaises et danoises, pain toast, céréales et bien évidemment fromage jambon et oeufs. Possibilité d’avoir des produits vegan pour le petit déjeuner !Nous recommandons vivement pour un séjour à Dublin !

Awesome place to stay!

We had a nice time in Dublin. We stayed 2 nights at Albany house. Our room was clean and quiet.Breakfast was very filling we didn't want anything until lunch.The staff was very pleasant and helpful. A special shout out to Emmin the night host.I would recommend Albany House.

A treat in central Dublin What a lovely treat in the center of Dublin. Rooms are typically small but clean and very functional. Bed is comfy, staff very friendly and helpful, and breakfast was excellent continental with great coffee and a varied, fresh selection.

Historic building, convenient location, excellent breakfast We (two adults, no kids) stayed here for several nights in September 2019. We would stay here again, however, would ask for a room not on ground floor.

What worked for us: Convenient location (ten-minute walk from route 757 express bus station that brought us from the airport; plus tram and bus stops near for other travel; walkable to Trinity College, Book of Kells, St. Patrick's, etc.), quiet, comfortable bed, great breakfast (local cheeses, fresh fruits, sliced meats, cereals of all kinds, juices, tea and coffee in pots for each table) and attentive breakfast staff. Responsive to emails prior to our stay, answered all our questions quickly. Free, reliable WiFi. Desk is staffed 24x7. Historic building and décor (in process of updating while we were there, but not intrusive or loud). Tea and coffee service in room.

Awareness items: No elevator (we knew this before reserving room, building is ~200 years old). Hair dryer worked, but very weakly. No A/C – was somewhat warm during our stay, window only opened 2-3 inches so no ability to get ventilation. Biggest challenge we had was getting the toilet to flush – had to pump the handle multiple times and flush multiple times, probably an issue with older plumbing since our room was on the ground floor (we reported the problem, it was not fixed during our stay - and why this is a 4 star review and not 5 stars).

Situato nella miglior zone di Dublino, bellissima guest house in stile georgiano. Molto curata e personale cordiale. Manca il lift ma meglio così perchè è rimasta autentica. Buona colazione !

Large Rooms & Nice Staff So enjoyed our stay at Albany House our first few days in Dublin. They were very accommodating when we had to cancel our first night due to a flight cancellation from the States. When we arrived they gave us a fantastically large room! Very clean, comfy bed, modern bathroom and a lovely seating area. The front desk staff were quite helpful with info on the Luas, and buses, and called the taxi for us when we left for the train station. The breakfast was very good with lots of chooses and lovely dining room. Unfortunately the little refrigerator in our room didn’t work and they told us that after we called about it. So why not just remove it from the room? Overall, a very good stay and value for money.

Good Location The room was comfortable and clean but looked slightly smaller and darker than most pictures on the website. However, the location was great, excellent for getting around and site seeing. There are many clubs on this street and the noise in the early hours disturbed me, but not my husband. If ever I returned to Dublin I would return to this guest house but request a quieter room. We found the staff very friendly and helpful.

Very nice Gergian hotel Stayed at the Albany House for two nights in Dublin. Very nice Georgian house/hotel close to St. Stephen's Green. Nice neat rooms for reasonable price in Dublin which is a very expensive town Definitely recommended

Precioso pero mejorable Ubicación inmejorable , al lado del centro y junto a unos preciosos jardines : Ivenagh gardens .cama cómoda y, como tuve habitación interior, no había ningún ruido ( salvo que daba a una guardería pero hasta las 10.15 no salen a jugar). Buena iluminación . Personal muy amable . Pedí una plancha y me la facilitaron sin problema.

Ahora los defectos que son y todos corregibles : esta claro que han redecorado recientemente la habitación pero desde luego es para matar al decorador : no hay un solo cajón ni una estantería para colocar jerséis , ropa interior, documentos .... etc
Solo dos mesillas y un aparador sin cajones y un lugar para colgar ropa con exactamente 6 perchas .
El agua caliente tarda un mínimo de 3 minutos en salir y aún así no sale caliente del todo . Lo comenté con otros amigos que ocupaban otra habitación y les ocurría lo
Las toallas son todas pequeñas . Ninguna cubre el cuerpo.
La encimera del baño está a 75 cm!!!hay que agacharse para acceder a las cosas!!
No hay nada para colocar cepillo de dientes ni recipiente para el jabón , nada de nada .Suelo de la ducha resbaladizo, la verdad algo peligroso aunque había barra de metal para sujetarse.
Por último es una pena que en un hotel irlandés no sirvan desayuno irlandés : solo continental: bollos , tostadas , cereales,queso , jamón y fruta .
Algo decepcionante cuando esperas un primer gran desayuno irlandés al llegar a tu primera escala en Irlanda .En cualquier caso el desayuno estaba bueno.
En fin aunque el sitio es inmejorable y a lo mejor volvería creo que hay otras opciones mejores por ese precio ( 140 mínimo la noche) .en cualquier caso con corregir picos detalles estaría perfecto!
