Very nice room. Great location. My room on the ground floor was about ten paces to breakfast area, which was nice. Some drilling/building noises on Thursday afternoon but that didn't persist long. Would stay again.
I stayed for the first time in January 2016 and this time returned with my parents. We enjoyed a lovely stay at the Albany Guest House, staff all friendly and helpful, rooms were large and comfortable stay (especially the executive rooms- extra large bed, sofa seating area). The location was perfect, a pleasant walk to Dublin City centre, passing through St Stephens Green and Grafton street shopping area. All in in all a brilliant stay and will definitely be returning to the Albany should i come back to Dublin....thankyou for your hospitality and great Irish welcome. Vikki Oakley
Lovely Georgian guest house. Wonderfully located, close to everything, yet not noisy. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Nice selection of cold breakfast items.
Beautiful rooms (room 201 & 202) lovely staff very friendly and helpful, breakfast was nice and location is brilliant. I would, or should I say have already recomended this hotel to my friends and family and will certainly be staying in The Albany again ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
It was a wonderful place to say! Our room was beautiful. We were given a family suite, which was a very nice upgrade. The staff was very friendly and they helped arrange a taxi pickup for us.
In fact. We have no comments, it was just fine. If, no when, we visit Dublin in the future we will come back in Albany Guesthouse.
Great find - newly refurbished bathrooms, spotless all around with a perfect price! Breakfast was simple but sufficient - yogurt was extremely tasty, tea and toast provided by the lovely old man working the breakfast room in the mornings. One thing, though it is relatively small in comparison with the overall value of this place, is that the rooms were freezing when we were there. Granted, the temperatures had dropped significantly whilst we were there but nonetheless shivering after a shower was not particularly nice! Overall though we would absolutely return - especially given the fantastic location of this place :)
An excellent stay, great value for money, rooms were lovely, a huge bathroom, amazing breakfast and lovely staff! Thanks so much! We will be back!
I have only positive things to say about my five night stay at Albany Guesthouse. The location was perfect for me, as it was within walking distance of all of my planned activities. The staff was very helpful, and the fact that breakfast was served every morning was so convenient. I wish I could have stayed longer. And I will definitely recommend this lovely place to my friends. Thank you for the hospitality.
Totalmente recomendable
Wonderful, helpful staff. Beautiful building.
Great room with georgian feel and comfortable bed. Breakfast was good, and guest services was very helpful. Location was great, right next to St. Stephen's Green in walking distance from all attractions! Would definitely stay here again in Dublin!
A very lovely and comfortable B&B centrally located in the heart of Dublin, within walking distance of the National Museum, St Stephen's Green, Grafton St, Trinity College, Cathedral district, and Temple Bar. The reception team is outstandingly gracious and helpful. I highly recommend a stay in this elegant yet quaint Georgian hotel.
The staff were friendly and helpful. I had a spacious and comfortable room and the breakfast was delicious.
The place was spacious and the staff accommodated my request to stay in a room in the back of the building away from the street.
We enjoyed our stay here. Loved the room we had. It had everything we needed and loved the architecture and feel of the Albany House. Everyone was extremely courteous and helped us with whatever we needed. Definitely recommend and would stay here again.
We have just returned from a 2 night stay at Albany Guesthouse. We were lucky that we were given a free upgrade to an executive room and it was excellent. It was a lovely airy room with a very large comfortable bed. Breakfast was continental and basic, but adequate. Staff were always friendly and very helpful. Only downside was having to use a local Qpark car park for the car, but apparently a lot of hotels in Dublin don't offer parking. The hotel issued us a voucher which meant it was half price, but still cost 35 Euros for 2 nights. All in all though a very good stay and I would recommend it.
large room with great style, kingsize bed, very clean; good continental breakfast, very friendly staff; within walking distance to the city
The room (201) was unbelievable - huge, great decor and the biggest, most comfortable bed ever! There was noise from the street well into the early hours but it honestly didn't bother us at all. Great stay.
We arrived before check in due to flights and we were given first room available. How wonderful!
