We were extremely pleased with the service we received on our arrival at The Albany. We were asked if we had booked 2 rooms and then informed that there had been 1 booked via Expedia and 1 direct. Upon our return later that night we were told that we were only being charged for the 1 room for which we were very grateful and this meant we had less to discuss with Expedia regarding the booking which it seems was taken despite locking up during the booking process and then not sending any confirmation. Thank you Albany for a fantastic customer service experience. The one minor issue was that of the breakfast as we felt it could have been a bit more comprehensive even for a continental breakfast. But the room was great and the short time we had there was equally good.
Great bargain of a hotel in a great area of town. Could walk everywhere. My room was updated. Bed was very comfortable and room very clean. Quiet getaway. Everyone was helpful. If I have one suggestion, it would be to have eggs at breakfast. Great find for the reasonable price in a great locations! I would recommend this guesthouse!
The only negative thing during my stay was the lack of a lift, where there is a relative difficulty for those who stay on high floors. Otherwise everything was impeccable. Thank you again.
We were extremely satisfied with our choice of the Albany House for our 1 day layover in Dublin on a Saturday night. Our room was clean and quiet, breakfast very good, staff very friendly and helpful. The location is central and historic and very close to a variety of good restaurants and popular clubs.
Nice guest's hotel, with beautiful rooms and good breakfast. Good localtion
The staff was very nice, the breakfast was great. Perfect location.
excellent value and location. Courteous, helpful staff and great breakfast!
Really appreciated Early Breakfast to accommodate Marathon Start time. Also the available shower after Marathon was fantastic and much appreciated. Definitely will stay here again.
Nice B&B in a great location at a reasonable price. Rooms are large and bathrooms are updated, however the house is a bit dated and could use a refresh. We had a proper King sized bed, but the mattress was very firm and not comfortable. Minimal toiletries offered in bathroom and breakfast was a selection of bread. Worth the price we paid for Dublin, I suppose.
nice, helpful staff; good beds, good sockets with usb! good location and a lot of stairs. But I missed more diversity with sandwich filling: just cheese and jam.
We loved your Albany Guesthouse. The room was great and the continental breakfast was very good. The gentlemen taking car of us as we are were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Very enjoyable. Thank you!
We spent a nice week at Albany Guesthouse. The room was neat and spacious, staff was friendly and breakfast tasty. Also the location of the hotel is ideal. We will come back. - a family from Finland
warm welcome, friendly and efficient staff, comfortable and spacious rooms.overall an enjoyable stay at reasonable prices.
Very friendly staff.
My husband and I loved staying at the Albany Guesthouse! The breakfast was included in the price and delicious - all you can eat Irish breads, cheeses, and fruit as well as cereal, juice, and coffee/tea. We loved the location - a quick walk to St. Steven's Green, Grafton Street, and Trinity College and about a 15 minute walk to Temple Bar area. The room was large and comfortable, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We were able to leave our bags there both before and after check in so we could continue to explore the city. We would highly recommend staying here!
Everyone at the Albany house were amazing! I emailed them requesting a lower room for my older mother and they gave us both rooms on the first floor. The Staff at the Albany House went out of their way to help my mother and family!! Will definitely stay again!! Thank you for an awesome stay!!
Wonderful guesthouse - with welcoming friendly staff... just like you hope to find in Ireland. Hotel is in an excellent central park of the city - 5mins walk from the hop on/off bus and 20mins walk to book of kells. Breakfast was continental and staff were very helpful in providing soy milk to meet my requirements. Rooms were perfectly clean. I recommend this place to stay.
Overall, very nice. Comments: - be sure you understand that there is no elevator. We had 80 steps to climb, the first time at 7am with two 50 pound bags - if you need a cab, but aren't sure of the time, do not give an estimate. We guessed a time, the cabbie was 30 minutes earlier than we were, with the meter running.
Inconvenient that window was not operative. Staff did prop it for me but on chillier days, I couldn't alter it.
