Very friendly staff.
My husband and I loved staying at the Albany Guesthouse! The breakfast was included in the price and delicious - all you can eat Irish breads, cheeses, and fruit as well as cereal, juice, and coffee/tea. We loved the location - a quick walk to St. Steven's Green, Grafton Street, and Trinity College and about a 15 minute walk to Temple Bar area. The room was large and comfortable, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We were able to leave our bags there both before and after check in so we could continue to explore the city. We would highly recommend staying here!
Everyone at the Albany house were amazing! I emailed them requesting a lower room for my older mother and they gave us both rooms on the first floor. The Staff at the Albany House went out of their way to help my mother and family!! Will definitely stay again!! Thank you for an awesome stay!!
Wonderful guesthouse - with welcoming friendly staff... just like you hope to find in Ireland. Hotel is in an excellent central park of the city - 5mins walk from the hop on/off bus and 20mins walk to book of kells. Breakfast was continental and staff were very helpful in providing soy milk to meet my requirements. Rooms were perfectly clean. I recommend this place to stay.
Overall, very nice. Comments: - be sure you understand that there is no elevator. We had 80 steps to climb, the first time at 7am with two 50 pound bags - if you need a cab, but aren't sure of the time, do not give an estimate. We guessed a time, the cabbie was 30 minutes earlier than we were, with the meter running.
Inconvenient that window was not operative. Staff did prop it for me but on chillier days, I couldn't alter it.
Be certain to book direct and avoid booking sites. We did and lost 2 days for rooms we didn't stay in, even though we attempted to cancel 3 months in advance. Merely a precaution
Our stay at Albany GuestHouse was great. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, and helped us on everything we needed. The only thing we think that could be better was the breakfast. Even having a good quality of products, we expected something cooked apart from the fruit and cereals, toasts, etc. Apart from that, we had a very good stay at Albany GuestHouse. Without any doubt we will repeat the next time we will travel to Dublin
The Albany Guesthouse exudes Old World charm and has a friendly and helpful staff. In addition, The Albany is centrally located only a few steps away from St. Stephen's Green.
Nice room, updated bathroom, very comfortable bed. Room was a bit small, but it was for single occupancy. Priced well for central location off of St. Stephen's Green in Dublin. Breakfast, although only continental, consisted of a lovely selection of pastries, fruit and cheeses that fill you up for the day.
Location was excellent, next to St Stephen's Green near the heart of the city. All of the staff that we interacted with were great, very helpful. We had a very quiet and spacious room and enjoyed our stay very much. Dublin is a wonderful city to visit.
Excellent accommodations. The room was spacious, well appointed and quiet. Thenstaff were extremely helpdul, friendly and clearly enjoy their work. The location is superior for anyone visiting Dublin for the first time.
We stayed here a week for our 10th anniversary holiday and loved it! We enjoyed chatting with and getting to know the staff who were very accomodating and provided some excellent recommendations. The location was perfectly seated at the end of the 300 year old Georgian section of the city and offers great places to eat (from traditional pubs and burgers to Persian food and modern bars), grocery stores to pick up snacks for travel, and even nite clubs if that's your thing. And it's a quick walk to the center of the city. We loved the charming décor of the old Georgian house and the rooms were updated to modern standards and very clean. The service was excellent. The breakfast was continental but more than enough to get you started in the morning, and the staff can recommend a good place or two if you want to get a full Irish instead. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay there again on our next visit. Thanks for a lovely time!
Albany House is very nice. Our room was large, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was very nice. The staff were very helpful. A nice plus is that it is located a block from St. Stephan's Green which is a lovely park to walk through on your way to Dublin sights.
Such nice folks at the front desk!! Thank you for all your help and your courtesy. We really appreciated it! Would definitely stay here again; great location, clean, nice rooms. Note: This is an old Georgian house so don't expect a Hilton! Weird stairways and turns, no elevators, rooms on the street side can get noisy at night from the goings-on down in the street, so be realistic about your expectations. But overall we were quite happy here. Thanks again.
We had a wonderful stay at the Albany House! It is a perfect location to walk to so many different sites in Dublin but it is still a quiet street and a very relaxing stay. The breakfast each morning is wonderful! We cannot recommend this place more!
This is a great guest house! Everyone who worked there were extremely kind and helpful. They were fast and efficient in resolving any concerns we had and offered great advice. Thanks for the great stay!
Staff at the front desk were very helpful & at breakfast very attentive. A 'heads up' about the late night street activity & closing windows would have been welcome: after the first night it was no problem. Highly recommended.
We had a wonderful stay at Albany House in Dublin--the location was absolutely ideal and the accommodations were very clean and nice and comfortable, with a fabulous breakfast included.
